A series of nights showcasing work from visual artists, performers, poets and musicians.
OPIA Lates have an extraordinary recipe of allowing artists to experiment and play
in front of an audience for a great cause. An experience I highly benefited from.
- ROBERTA LIVINGSTON, ACTRESS & PLAYWRIGHT -
OPIA Lates was an accessible and brilliant night that manages to platform young artists across
so many different expressions and forms. More than that, it feels coherent and communal,
and like a night of artists genuinely mixing together and socialising and supporting each other.
- OLI ISAAC, POET & PRODUCER, CO-FOUNDER OF CLUMSY BODIES -
As a queer woman, this event was magical. It really felt like a space where I could just
be myself, meet like-minded people, and hear queer stories, like mine, be told. It was a
beautiful night and afterwards I really felt like part of such a strong and powerful
community. They inspired me to go and make my own art, as the quality of the work that
was shared was out of this world. A really incredible night and I hope they're more often! OPIA Lates is essential
attendance for not just the queer community but all allies, friends and family.
- NATASHA BROWN, PLAYWRIGHT & PERFORMER -
