2018 has been a year of implementing foundations and growth for us.
This year we've started developing 'The Girl With Glitter In Her Eye' where we shared work-in-progress sharings and extracts at Theatre Royal Stratford East, Lyric Hammersmith, Battersea Arts Centre, Poleroid Theatre and Far Cry Theatre. We are incredibly thankful for the space we were given to create by Lyric Hammersmith and Hounslow Arts Centre, this was invaluable to us as artists and the work we've created. 2019 we are looking at being able to share with you the finished production of 'The Girl With Glitter In Her Eye'.
'Colour Beyond The Lines' at Lyric Hammersmith was our first event celebrating Queer and female artists. We were incredibly lucky to have Niamh Granville (poet) , Oakley Flanagan (poet) and ELOI (singer/songwriter) perform. This is an event we hope to continue and grow, creating a platform to showcase queer and female talents.
We also collaborated with the phenomenal poet and playwright Oakley Flanagan on their new short play 'England, my England!', premiering at Omnibus Theatre. The process working on this show was so enjoyable and grew us as a company and collective of artists! We are excited to be collaborating with Oakley Flanagan in the future, so be sure to keep an eye out.
We want to thank everyone who has supported us this year! It's been incredibly special and 2019 is a year to slay.
